Content
The sexual and reproductive health programme consists of 15 modules on different topics. Each module is made up of a number of bite-sized sessions.
Modules cover topics such as basic anatomy and physiology, consent and history taking, contraceptive choices, emergency contraception, complications and side effects from contraception, planning a pregnancy, early pregnancy and unintended pregnancy and abortion.
Further modules cover sexually transmitted infections (STIs), needs of specific groups, adult and child/young person safeguarding/child protection, psychosexual medicine, cervical screening as well as additional training material on subdermal implants (SDIs) and intrauterine contraception (IUC).
