Blood Transfusion
Blood Transfusion Training (BTT) elearning programme supports the training of staff directly involved in the transfusion process and/or the management of patients requiring anti-D immunoglobulin prophylaxis. Safe and appropriate transfusion saves and improves lives, but it is not without risk.
The Blood Transfusion Training elearning programme’s modules guide clinical and laboratory healthcare staff involved in the transfusion process (in adults, neonates, infants, and children), through each step of the transfusion process.
This elearning course is available to healthcare professionals around the world. The engaging, online sessions provide best practice guidance on optimising the care of patients who may need a transfusion.

The programme is made up of nine modules– a score of 80% is required to successfully complete the module.
